The final notice must confirm the business’s data-controller responsibilities and any separate responsibilities of cruise operators, tour suppliers and travel partners.
Information used by the service
The app uses account and contact information, travel preferences, party and cabin arrangements, bookings, offer records, eligibility information where relevant, payment references, cancellations and support records. Travel partners may enter client information for a booking. Do not enter card security codes or unrelated sensitive documents in free-text fields.
Purposes and sharing
The proposed purposes are account access, matching travel requests, arranging reservations, verifying eligibility and reported payments, handling changes and refunds, preventing abuse and supporting customers. Information needed to provide a requested service is shared with the relevant operator, supplier or authorized travel partner. The final notice must document the legal basis for each purpose and the service-provider agreements.
Hosting and storage in the browser
The current implementation uses Supabase for account and database services and is prepared for Cloudflare hosting. Essential cookies maintain account sessions. Browser storage can retain a travel request or comparison shortlist. The final notice must identify the actual deployed providers, processing regions, retention settings and any additional analytics. Marketing must not be enabled by this draft.
Retention and privacy requests
Proposed approach: retain personal information only for documented booking, support, security and applicable recordkeeping needs, then delete or anonymize it using an approved process. Exact periods and the deletion process have not yet been approved. Contact hello@nileecruz.com to request access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy assistance. Identity verification and legal recordkeeping restrictions may affect how a request is fulfilled.
